The Rebel Spirit came from the ground up with the heart and drive of being raised by a diehard motorcycle enthusiast, my father, Tommy Ray Shipwash (TRS). I grew up always wanting to be in the garage with him, working on all kinds of motorcycles, cars, trucks, trailers and boats, it was one of his greatest passions and you know they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
At this point my passion for starting a business in honor of my dad is one that just cannot be put to rest. So Kristin and I started this business with wanting our own motorcycles to “stand out” from the rest, something different, something unique and we decided if we can imagine it why not create it?
We believe a motorcycle should thrill and excite an owner or admirer even before the first rumble of the engine. It doesn’t matter what you ride, it doesn’t matter if you do not have a two-wheeled machine of your own, the only thing that matters is that you have passion for motorcycles and separating your ideas from the masses.
